How can I just make it go away?
As a kid, when watching a scary scene in a movie, I would cover my eyes with my hand thinking that it will make the scary scene go away.
How I wish not reading about the Gujarat Pogrom of 2002 will just make it go away. How I wish the gruesome fate of Ehsan Jafri, who was brutally hacked, will be reversed if I just stop reading about it.
I am just too disturbed right now to write more. Not just after reading the expose; more so because a lot of otherwise “normal” people still buy into “taught them a lesson” view.
